Hi

Just a quick question, I have been offered a new job and part of the offer is a car allowance of 5000 euros. Is a car allowance usually taxed or is it untaxed and I receive 96 euros(5000 /52) extra separately per week for the running of my car?

Really? I thought a company car was subject to BIK but car allowance wasn't. As it towards of running a car you own.
 
It's taxable but if you are travelling on business using your own car you can claim motor expenses from your employer which are not subject to tax if below the limits.
 
Generally any mileage an employer may pay will be worked off civil service rates which you will find if you search online.

The car allowance is fully taxable.
