Car alarm recomendations Dublin

Looking for a Car Alarm for an 08 Golf. Living in Dublin Northside. Got quotes from Cartronics in Santry, Scansounds in Phibsboro and Safesounds in Drumcondra and all coming in about €300 mark

Any others or recommendations advise

Isn't it fitted with a key-activated immobilser as standard? Where's the advantage of an alarm?

Just be careful who you select. I have seen more than one car's electronics ruined by clueless alarm installers, like the clown who took a power feed from a car's ECU loom!
 
Yes it has an immobiliser on it but it would deter the thief from trying to get in and also for peace of mind and insurance. Got alarms installed previously in Safesounds and no problem. Seen a lot of mobile alarm installers but just looking for a reputable one
 
How would the thief know it has an alarm fitted until it goes off, unless there is a huge sticker?

Yes looks good but I dont want potential thief to get into the car and I want it to sound off when they even attempt to get into the car thus the reason for the alarm
