Capital Gains Tax..

Good morning,

Not sure if this is the correct place within the forum to post this query but would ask your forebearance if it is the wrong one!

We are looking to move house - out to the sticks. We expect our property to realise €750000 and after clearing the existing mortgage and purchasing a new property we would have in the region of €165,000 left. Are we liable to pay capital gains??? and if so, how much???? all help appreciated.
 
If you are selling your home and it was never rented out then the sale is exempt from CGT regardless of what you do with the proceeds.
