I sold an investment property in Feb 2007 and I thought I was liable to pay the CGT on it this time around next week when I file.

However when I went on ROS, the section for CGT is only looking for period 2006.

Do I have another year then to declare this?

You need to pay the cgt due on any disposals from 1st Jan to 30th Sep by 31st Oct of the same year (so 2007).
The tax return for it will be due in Oct next year (2008)

just found my Pay & File Reminder and there was a payslip at the bottom and one section for CGT.

SO I pay now what I think I owe and then file the return next year?

Pay exactly what you owe and in full now, or you will be liable to interest on any underpayment. you can get a payslip here:

you then file the return for it in oct 08.

thanks webtax....I don't see any payslips here on your link but I have the one I got from revenue so I'll use that....
