Capital Gains - Form to use

Hi All,

I am a PAYE tax payer who submits my tax return online via the revenue site. I have paid my Capital gains for sale of shares via revenue online, however I am unsure which form to use.
The revenue site says use Form 12, if you are a PAYE taxpayer who must submit a tax return. Do I use this form and fill in the Capital Gains section only? Can I just submit a scanned version of this form online?

Form CG1 for PAYE taxpayers as the form 12 tax return for PAYE taxpayers doesn't include a section for CGT.

Form 12 does include section for Capital Gains on page 19. This is the one I used. Should I resubmit the same information in form CG1?

Sorry I meant is not included on the EForm 12 which the majority of PAYE filers use. Depends what you normally use but I'd just use the CG1 and scan it into MyEnquiries for processing.
