Cape Verde -----------January escape

Isn't that the place that Eddie Hobbs was pushing as the next up and coming place to invest ? That project went west if I remember correctly, primarily due to flight connection issues with no direct flights at that time ?

Yes, I know some who have gone to Cape Verde for a winter break. Longish journey, good warm weather but underdeveloped and quietish would be the general comments I have heard. Don't remember anyone saying they would go back again. That's all I can offer you

Cape Verde is not a place where I have spent any time. I hear it is as wet there as here with colder winds to boot. Why spend a January in a worse climate to what you are used? (I am open to correction).
