Can't turn off the CAPS!!

hey

a friend of mine has a VK530 mobile phone and somehow has managed to turn on the Caps but can't turn them off - hence everytime she sends a text, it's like she's shouting at people!

any ideas anyone?

On most 'phones, afaik, either the '#' or the '*' key toggles between upper/lower case and numbers rather than letters. Has she tried that? Or asked in the shop she bought it from? (or read the manual?)
 
she's tried both, the shop seems pretty useless (vodafone) - offered to send it away!!! You would think someone in the shop might have enough know-how to turn the Caps off....
reckon the manual is long gone...
She said herself it's a cheapo phone, I've certainly never seen one before, so the things you'd normally do to turn off the Caps aren't working...
