Can't play .SMIL files

Hi,

I am trying to play some old No Frontiers programmes for RTE website. The are in .SMIL format.

I have downloaded Real Player as was recommended, however they are still not playing?? I have installed and reinstalled the player a couple of times. I am getting a General Error when I try and play. Even if I download the .SMIL file it doesn't work.

Anyone any ideas?
