just traded my car in on monday for a new one and can't find my original vehicle licensing form. I checked online and it said I need to pay 12 euro to get a new one, and it could take a few weeks to process.

Is there any way around this? The garage now have my old car and we both need this form before we can tax the new cars.

Thanks

You can go personally to a Motor Tax office with the Garda stamped declaration looking for replacement docs and speed the process up. I got one within a week just recently.

The registered owner can apply to have lost documents replaced by completing a Replacement Documentation Form RF134,declaring what documents have been lost. It is necessary to have this form witnessed and stamped by a Garda,at a Garda station. To ascertain the correct fee contact your local motor taxation office

I am now in the same position, does anyone know if I can drop in to the vehicle registration unit in Shannon and have it done on the spot.
