Cannot check email on esatclear account

I can get into my esatclear inbox with username and password but I cannot check for new email. I get the following message.

"An error has occurred
W10: Cannot login to host (pop.esatclear.ie:110)
W11: User or Password incorrect for (username) (-ERR Maildir invalid (no 'cur' directory))"

Any idea why this is or how I can fix it?

All 4 a/cs in my house down all weekend too. They seem to be OK since about 8 tonight - I tried sending from them all and worked fine.

Most or all broadband services (in Dublin at least) were inoperable for several hours on Saturday 2nd April in case that was the cause. See here for some info.

Same on a relations's esatclear account - does not seem to be connected to broadband as this problem is occuring on dial up as well - still broken as at midnight last night, same error message - password invalid.

Esatclear account malfunctioning after midnight last night but seems to be working properly again when I tried a short time ago.
