Cancelling priceline reservation

Like I fool booked a hotel for way more than I wanted to spend. Just wondering did anyone ever successfully cancel after making a booking with priceline.
Tried to ring and have sent an email but no responses yet. Desperately need help!!

Yes but I was bidding for two different cities with different dates at the same time. Managed to get my dates mixed up and ended up winning.

They made a one off exception and cancelled when I explained what I had done.

Not sure how they respond in your circumstances.

I think that's the whole point of price line , you don't know the hotel or the price...

If they cancelled for this reason they could have to shut down...

Not a hope in hell - it's very clearly explained in Priceline's terms and conditions. Cannot see any way that they'll issue you a refund on this.
