Cancel income tax registration

I've just completed my returns for 2022 and I will have no further liability going forward.
My income will return to soley being PAYE.

My question is when should I deregister/cancel my income tax registration as a chargeable person?
Straight away or leave until early next year?

I don't want to be getting notifications from revenue when it's not needed.
My understanding is I complete the process with the TRCN1 form.

You should be able to complete it on ROS without a TRCN1 form. Just answer a few simple questions.
 
I sent a letter (remember them) to revenue requesting deregistering. I also sent an email. One or both worked at the time.
