Been BBQing for a long time now using charcoal BBQs and reciently bought a gas BBQ from Tesco. It has 2 burners and a side burner. I've heard that lava rock gives the authentic flavour but not sure if I can use it on mine. Nothing in the handbook.

I've a gas BBQ for a number of years & use the lava rocks in it for one of the burners - not too sure how much "authentic flavour" it gives, but no issues using them...
