Can you use Brown Thomas vouchers in Awear?

Hi, can you still use brown thomas vouchers in Awear, I recall in the past you could but not sure now, anyone know?!!

you definately used to be able to but I found this on their website

Please be advised that from Monday 26th of May 2008, Brown Thomas & BT2 Gift Cards will no longer be valid in A|wear stores. This is due to the separation of A|wear from the Brown Thomas Group. If you have any queries on this matter please email customerservices@a-wear.ie and we will respond as soon as possible.

does it say on the voucher that it is accepted? might be work chancing your arm
