can you trace voicemail?

hi
just wanted to ask a quick question. When my phone was switched off someone rang and left a voicemail. is there anyway of finding out who this person was (as i dont recognise the voice)??

What did the voice mail say?

I think you can press 6 to ring them back (on Vodafone at least)

Did you get a "you missed a call from 08........." text?
If so then stick a 5 after the 08x and before the rest of the number to dial straight into their voicemail & see who they are
Above assumes they rang from a mobile

If your on 02 press 22 and you can call them back unless they called ona private number...
