Can you get out of a mortgage which has not been signed on fully yet?

Hi, Does anyone know can you get out of a mortgage which has not been signed on fully yet, we just have approval. Our house wont be ready till June and we were going to try different lenders to see if we can get a bigger mortgage. We are dealing through a broker at the moment

Hi Debbie, as long as you havent drawn down any money from your mortgage, there shouldnt be any problem.

Thanks a lot for that! I dont know how everyone can get big mortgages we are having awful trouble because we moved out of Ireland for one year!
