Can you get a Tie 'taken in'?

OK strange question i know, but - i have a shirt with a narrow collar on it that most regular ties stick out underneath. I need to get a specific tie to match other ties for a wedding, so i was wondering if it is possible to get a tie altered or taken in ? and if yes, where (in dublin) would do a good job.

please don't suggest i get a shirt with a wider collar!!

There is an excellent Tailors on South Anne St, off Grafton St. It's above La Cave wine bar and (I think) called The Alteration Centre (01 6776258, if that is indeed what it is called) .
I've used them a lot over the years, and they always do an excellent job. They will also be quite clear if what you are asking for will not give a good result, eg if the material is not suitable for what you want done.
You could give them a shout and ask?
