Can you claim back expenses on childs Root Canal Treatment?

Hi Folks,

Quick question re. Root Canal Treatment. I'm aware that you can claim back on the MED 1 or MED 2 (can't remember which) but as it's a child in full-time education that's being treated I was just wondering if the same method of claiming applies, is it completely different or in fact no way of claiming any of it back?

Med-2 is for dentistry and root-canal treatment expenditure does qualify for relief. The total amount on your Med-2 supplied by your dentist appears as a line-item on your Med-1 form.

You can claim it under dependants on a form 11
