P Protocol Guest 8 Feb 2005 #2 don't know what P stands for NU stands for Norwich Union. A few big insurers merged: Commercial Union + General Accident became CGU, which then merged with NU, to become: CGNU, now called Aviva. This trades in Ireland as Hibernian.
