I am interested in applying for a part time gen. services job with the HSE. Was just wondering if they would be prepared to take on people that already work a full time job (I do a 39 hr. week but its condensed to thurs/fri/sat - due to long shifts). I couldnt get any further info from them other than it was 19 hrs/week.

Anyone have any idea on this?

Re: Anyone work p/t for hse??

You would be over the 48 hour limit imposed by the EU working time directive.
This may mean that the HSE would be breaking the law by employing you...

My current employer breaks this with hundreds of employees every week of the year.

I managed to get a hold of someone - they need someone who would be available for 19hrs. over the full week. So its a non starter anyways - sort of deal that would suit someone who's retired I suppose....
