Can I use my UK stamps in Ireland?

Hi,
I returned to Ireland from the UK in 2004. I had worked there for almost twenty years in very high paid employment, paying alot of money into the UK Pay Related Social Insurance Scheme. I now find myself unemployed in Ireland and have no stamps here. Can I use my contributions from the UK to claim in Ireland?

yeah I'm sure you can, anyone that lives and works in the eec can claim on any contributions made in other eec countries.
