Will I be able to get cash from French ATM's with by AIB ATM card?

If it has the Cirrus, Plus+ and/or Maestro logos on it then you should be able to but bear in mind that using a pre-loaded credit card can often be more cost effective:

Although Laser is an Irish only debit card system PTSB Laser cards can now be used in foreign ATMs under the Cirrus scheme and I'm not sure if this also applies to other banks' Laser cards.

Re: re

My only experience is with a BOI Laser card; AIB should be the same. I've used it in ATMs and in shops in the Euro zone without any problems.

The cost of an ATM/Laser transaction is the same in the Euro zone as at home.

AIB Laser

AIB Laser can't be used abroad, but their ATM card can.

Re: AIB Laser

Not trying to hijack your thread but I have a very similar question. A UK based friend has a BoI Pass card; it does work in Ireland (@BoI) but is not part of Cirrus or Maestro system. Can anyone explain why an Irish issued pass card supports the international network but the UK issued card does not?
