Hi,

I it too late to plant hedging in November? Also, what is good hedging to plant the is frost proof?

November to March is the time to sow bare root hedging, and is much cheaper than the potted version which can be sown at any time. Have a look at futureforests for hedge types and photos - also I found these people excellent to buy from. I have found laurel ( evergreen ) and hornbeam ( semi deciduous ) to be hardy hedges that have coped with the severe weather that we had the last few winters.

Thanks for that. I thought I would have to wait until the spring. That's great news. I'll check out that site now.
