Can I make more contributions, than the schedule outlined by HMRC

I paid the required contributions up to 5th April 2025, as set out by HMRC. They are Class 2, and I paid contributions from 2005-2025. I have just a few more contributions to be paid up to the end date. If I made more payments, would that increase my pension? Is that allowed?

As well as buying voluntary NIC for previous years, you can in the future pay for future missing years.

Thank you, I will have no gaps at the end of the process. I will future pay the next few years; it's just a few hundred euros. Could I put in a grand, or so more, to increase my pension. I will have no gap years, and will have paid the contributions as laid out by HMRC. Is that allowed? or must I stick to the schedule as laid out by HMRC?
