Can i get a loan secured by forthcoming inheritance.

I'm currently looking for a loan of 3000
I'm been refused by all banks,credit unions etc.

I didn't mention this to these bank,credit union that I'm going to recieve inheritance money of which the minimum will be 60000.
The reason I'm saying minimum is because there is a new house part of the estate with a valuation of 400000. I'm saying 60000 minimum if house was sold at 240000
Would these banks,credit union give me a loan of 3000
It is currently going to probate.
The deceased died intestate.
Next of kin are recieving the estate
Next of kin are his siblings of which I am one of four.
Would the banks,credit union give a loan of
3000 because of an inheritance of 60000 minimum I'll be getting

Almost certainly not.

You might get one from a friend or family member though b

You could try, for it to work you'd want a letter from solicitor confirming you have money coming and approximate time scale, then I'd imagine CU would be best bet and chances are they would then want an undertaking from your solicitor to clear the loan from the funds, the solicitor may or may not be willing to provide something like that.

€3k is a very small loan these days. It seems likely you're being refused by multiple lenders for a reason, and that the reason probably won't disappear just because you expect to receive an inheritance at some point.

A solicitor would be silly to give an undertaking to repay the loan. Most of the inheritance seems to be coming from a house which may never be sold or may be sold through a different solicitor. It's outside of their control.

Just wait for the inheritance to come through.
