Can I claim tax relief on Mileage?

Hi all,

For the last 2.5 years, I have been making a 280 mile round trip approximately once a month on behalf of my employer. My employer does not pay me mileage for these trips. Does anyone know if I am entitled to claim tax relief on these miles at civil service rates?
