Hi,
Before I got married, I owned my own apartment and my wife owned her's.
After marriage I move into her's and I rented mine out.
I am just after paying the 200 non principle private residence investment thing tax.
I am wondering can I claim rent relief for living in my wife's?
I know this is a bit of a cheeky question and I probably wouldn't do it, but I'd just like to know as I technically don't own her's. Only her name is on the mortgage.
comments please...
