Yes you can I think, I am not sure if this has already been answered for you(?) but from memory I think you certainly should be able to claim back the PRSI - will check it out some more!

I also have been told:
In this letter they will need their P60 (spouses P60 not needed) and their letter of confirmation. They would write a brief letter saying: “Please see attached documentation. Please refund a cheque in respect of PRSI relief for my recent lump sum AVC contribution."
Just fill in the CGPRSI1 form and attach the requested documentation (copies not originals!). If there are additional details that you need to explain then attache a letter clarifying them.
