and definitely not because she's performing her own childcare while on the job, right? The doctor is not my mother and the girl is not my sister, the girl is the doctor's daughter. The doctor said the reason she wants her daughter to be in the room is so her daughter could shadow/observe her while she works and learn about her job.
When is this appointment? I have seen you post this exact question on another site a couple of days ago and someone there said they had seen it elsewhere too.I'm 14 and male. I'm going to be going to a doctor's appointment because I have a skin infection. When the appointment was being made the doctor asked my mother if her 12-year-old daughter could stay in the room but I told my mother and my doctor that I did not want her daughter to be in the room as I would be completely naked during my examination. Are they allowed to do this or can I tell the doctor to make her daughter leave the room?
Misunderstanding? All sounds a bit makey-up to me. In any event, one can insist that such an observer leave the room.I would be completely naked during my examination.
Ok that makes it much simpler to answer.the girl is the doctor's daughter
I am a 49 year old man and I wouldn't be happy with a child being in a doctors surgery. A child wouldn't have the maturity to fully understand confidentiality and the seriousness of breaking such confidences. Never mind you only being a couple of years older than her, it would be very awkward being naked in front of her.The doctor is not my mother and the girl is not my sister, the girl is the doctor's daughter. The doctor said the reason she wants her daughter to be in the room is so her daughter could shadow/observe her while she works and learn about her job.
