Hi, i'm hoping can someone tell me if there is anything I can do about the following situation:
I bought a car at auction on friday, got it on a provisional sale then agreed a price wth the seller, and i paid a deposit. Then this morning i was looking on donedeal and the car was on it, the ad was posted on saturday. My bf rang the number and asked waht the story was, told them we had boght it on friday at the auction. I then got a phone call from the auction place saying that the sale was cancelled as the seller (who happens to be the auction owners brother) had recieved an abusive call from us. I was standing there when bf rang the guy ad as far as i'm concered he wasn't abusive.
Anyway can anyone tell me can they cancel the sale as it was bought at the auction and a deposit paid on it? There was no contract signed but I have a receipt for the deposit.
