Can camera video clips be viewed through picasa ?

Hi

I use picasa to upload my photos.
I have only just discovered how to take little movies with my camera (after a year )....when I upload my photos the movie ones appear as smaller pictures but I can't play them...

Is picasa capable of showing the movies or do I need to download something else ?

If not, something like the VLC media player will certainly do the job.

Picasa only supports the following movie file types:

- AVI
- MPG
- ASF
- WMV
- MOV

So, you would most likely have to convert your movie clip (which is probably in 3GP format which is an MPEG-4 container used for camera phones) to MOV or AVI using the full Quicktime Pro or some other utility.

I use picasa for still shots and windows media player for my video clips from my camera.
