Can both spouses get full State Pension?

If two spouses have a continuous PRSI record for most of their adult lives, independent of each other, do they qualify for a state contributory pension each?

Separate question - if one of them has been employed by the other for much of their working life and thus pays Class K1 PRSI, does this make a difference?

I would have assumed so unless one contributory pension claim plus the dependent/qualifying adult allowance would leave them better off?
 
No - they could just get the married persons rate.
 
Actually I was mistaken - each person could claim the single person State Pension if they each had enough 'stamps'.
