Can anyone recommend an Accountant for an IT contractor?

Im working as an IT contractor and want to change accountants for a number of reasons.

Can anyone recommend someone who deals with contractors and would do all tax/vat returns etc..

I would imagine that most accountants would take your business. Where are you based?
 
I'm in a similar position. The problem is getting an accountant that is conscientious and reliable. The accounts for an IT contractor is relatively easy (compared to most other Ltd companies) but they still seem to fcuk it up and charge a fortune for it.
 
I totally agree with you. Im an IT contractor too. Ive yet to meet a reliable accountant. They dont give a Sh*t about you as long as they get their money. I can recommend some accountants not to use if thats allowed here?

I used Noone Casey several years ago and found them quite good. they handle a lot of IT contractors and are setup to handle that type of business.
I don't have any recent experience of them as I went back into full time employment.

I have been dealing with him for my tax having chatted to many accountants, most of whom confused me.. Stuart simplified all my tax queries as he really knows his stuff
