Can anyone help calculating my Gross

hi
can anybody help figuring out my gross from my net pay.
Tax free allowance is 3660.

Also i'm just going through things here and am wondering how is prsi calculated. is it 4%prsi + 2% health on your gross less 127 per week ? or is the 2% only on anything earned above the threshold of 50euro.

i think this is how but have been looking at it for an hour

€27,300 + [20% (X] + [6% (X-€ 6,604)] = X

X = gross pay/???

This is done by plugging numbers for the gross salary into Karl Grabe's Tax calculator until it comes out with your net pay.

Just in case you are due a refund ....send your P60 for 2008 to this address :

And if you do receive refund ....then send your other years P60 to same address
 
what can you do if you haven't received p60 yet???? finished employment and haven t got the pink slip either>
 
As a paye worker , you dont need a P 60 to claim tax back ..............by now, your tax should be safely tucked away in the Revenue's bank account.............That is if your employer has sent in his P35 on time ( deadline around the 15th February )

If you have final payslip for 2008 , all your P60 details are there .............

Use this to claim tax back and prsi refund

By the way , there are many threads here regarding P60's been late and indeed still outstanding.

If you do not receive a P60 or P45 from your employer , you could try the following :

1. Ring/write to your employer and request these documents
2. Note your employers registered No. and ring the tax office to inform them of your predicament.
