Per the title of the thread, I'm wondering if a well fitted vapour control layer in a timberframe build can also double as an airtightness membrane? From what I can discern, I need to fit a VCL on all external walls (100mm PU insulation fitted between 140mm x 38mm studs)anyway. Would also appreciate any feedback on what guage of material I need for either. Thanks in advance, apple1
