Hi
If someone who resides in NI dies, and the executor of their will lives in the Republic, can the executor appoint a solicitor in the Republic to manage probate, etc. Grant of probate would presumably need to be lodged in Northern Ireland, but can it be done and managed by a solicitor in a different jurisdiction?
Any ideas or knowledge on this would be welcome.
TIA
