I live in the republic of Ireland can my bank here get information to a bank account i have in NI if i have financial problems and cannot pay a debt.

it depends on the bank, some of the banks (Ulster for example) have shared systems across their organisation so they should be able to do so

If you have problems and cannot pay a debt, does it matter that they could get details of your account in the north?

I assume you mean something like the Irish Credit Bureau, but for the GBP zone ?

If your bank in this country have a presence in the GBP zone, then I assume they have access to whatever equivalent service (e.g. UK Credit Bureau) exists ?
