Camcorder - Best Buy ??

Looking to buy a camcorder in the Jan Sales. Anyone any suggestions on best value model to purchase ?

Is it better value to buy one online as opposed to the high street shop ?

Not having owned/used one - can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Try Pixmania - They will give you a good rundown on what is available and what is the best value. I bought a Canon MV 600i years ago as I wanted to make my own DVDs' and today everything is 100%.
