Hi I want to buy a mini cam corder for holidays and family use and I see that the is a big price range. What are the things to look out for I am hoping to spend around 3 -4 hundred euro. Will I get aggod compact family one for that
I'd advise getting a hard-drive recorder..no need for tapes, DVDs etc. Just record, later load onto a PC and then burn onto DVD from there if required. Check out
I'd get a good mini dv camcorder €350 with the extras a bag,tapes,sd card , just as easy to transfer onto pc with firewire or a converter (€70) then use windows movie maker to manufacturer your movies.
look for good optical zoom, decent lens , a night shot mode, stabilizer and
ability to take stills as well
