Called for interview

Hey,

i am on the list in dun loaghiare rathdown and have been called for an interview next Saturday.
has anyone been on one of theses interviews?
what do they mean? etc

Its just to go through your application and make sure you have everything filled out etc and to tell you what is available to you. Go get yourself mortgage approval in principal if you haven't already so you know how much you will be able to get together. This all saves time.

so those this mean, that they will have a property for me,
they have my mortgage in principal already

For affordable housing : they will be able to tell you what developments are coming up and which ones you may be suitable for price-wise. For affordable housing they don't do anything about mortgages so you have to do that yourself. If you don't have approval in principal yet they will tell you to go to the banks and see what you can get. Only then will you be put forward for a place. They will go through the application form you filled out to make sure its filled out correctly with any bits and pieces needed and will tell you about the process. Its all very casual.

If you are going for something other than the 'affordable' options, I don't know.

Be sure and ask them if there'll be an administration fee... they failed to mention it at mine - €2050! Not applicable to all estates so be sure to ask.
