Cabinteely

A colleague of mine is hoping to move to the above area shortly but was concerned to hear that residents (not sure what exact area is) had been receiving leaflets from the local residents committee re a recent outbreak of break ins where the burglars wore balaclavas. He is obviously concerned about the safety of his wife and children.

What is Cabinteely like generally? Would you recommend it?

I have never heard that and have several family members who live there.

Your friend should ring or call into the local Garda station and address such serious concerns. That will put his mind at ease once and for all without wasting time on rumour, which is just what i'd say this more then likely is..

I'd defo recommend it. It is on the N11 bus corridor, has a massive park, the 24hr Dunnes Stores, good access to jobs locally via industrial estates, driving distance to the coast, on the m50, luas coming next year..the estate called 'The Park' in Cabinteely is well located.

I live there ,never heard this either and I have relatives who are grapevines!!! you'd hear if the grass grew from them!

Ditto the guards they are really helpful in the station in the village...

Is it better or worse when they don't wear balaclavas?
