In this current plunging market what you pay for an AH and the actual market value when you close the sale are beginning to merge, hence a much reduced clawback %. This might tempt some to consider buying out their clawback and free themselves from the common rules of the AH scheme. Thought this thread might be a chance to pool the knowledge on this subject.
How do you do it? If you buy out the clawback a few years after the original sale, is the clawback % still the one based on purchase price and the set market price at the time when you bought?
Also is there a minimum period you must wait after you buy the AH before you can buy out your clawback?
