Buying online in stg

Was buying online with my visa on an english site. Total in stg£52.00 and when i change currency to euro the total is €78.00. If i leave it at sterling and when hit confirm order will it change to euro, as shipping address is ireland, or will it stay in sterling.
 
It should stay in Sterling - if it's going to switch to Euro, I'm sure the site is supposed to let you know. Leastways, that's what happens on Play.com - if you try to pay in Sterling but you're shipping to an Irish address, a message pops up to say that you MUST pay in Euro.
 
ye just got onto play.com and if you leave it in sterling it says can only ship to u.k. address. Well i have placed order and the invoice is in sterling so have to wait and see what appears on credit card bill. i reckon i should save between 15 - 18 euro and that on such a small amount.
