Buying jewelry in NY

You should probably start here:


Bought our wedding rings there a long time ago but the range was fabulous, and the hassidic jewelers were really professional and knowledgeable.

Do you have to go to America. Try Cape Town or other cities in South Africa / Sub saharian africia in general.
 
Purchased the future Mrs Muzaway a great engagement ring in this place in New York in May

Haniken Jewlers, 66 West 47th Street, booth #24.

This is a family business and the guy we dealt with, Michael, spent about 2 1/2 hours with us. He was patient and not pushy at all, and gave us a great price.

A couple of other people we know have been to them since to get rings and all were delighted with the experience.

I have no association with them but found it to be a great experience, especially since we got a much bigger and better quality ring/stone than we could in Ireland, plus a weekend in NYC all within the budget. sweet.

asdfg, purchased before in capetown and would agree that the value in diamonds in particular there is second to none. not planning on being there again soon however.
