Buying in Florida site

Can cnybody give some and lajit sites to look about buying in Florida.
I have citizenship for the USA and was looking about buying an apartment or condo in the states for holidays.
Is is a good time to buy as things are bad at the moment or should I hold off until next year as property is expeted to go lower??
 
I think hang on. Sentiment is getting bad in the USA.

The dollar is weakening all the time, could become seriously weak over the next decade.
 
Any sites that you come across selling property in Florida will probably be selling their own particular developments and will be bias in there dealings with you.
My advice would be to get into contact with an independant realtor who will be working for you to get you the property you exactly require. They can sell you any property that is listed for sale in Florida and hey get this you dont have to give them a penny to do it, the vendor of the property pays twice, once to your realtor and also to his realtor.

Somewhere along the coast but within driving distance to Orlando as I have two small children.It would have to be somewhere that a couple would like to go every year later on when kids get older.

Weather isn't great this time of year. Insurance is becoming very hard to obtain.
 
Weather. There are rumours that the Government are thinking of (indirectly) becoming a provider due to the fact that it is becoming so difficult/expensive to insure property. Source? A recent edition of The Economist.

Know of property on the east coast south of orlando

State taxes and insurance now come to US$ 20,000 per annum and it could be higher for non residents....the property could be worth US$ 750k.

I do not understand the first sentence of your post which is why I quoted it. In particular the bit highlighted in blue by you makes no sense.
