Buying engagement rings in Antwerp

Hi Everyone

I know there has been lots of posts here over the years regarding purchasing engagement rings from Antwerp and the value and quality associated with doing so.

I knew nothing about this practice until I came across an old thread recently and was very impressed with the feedback there. I've also checked out the Antwerp diamond association & have made contact with some of the affiliated jewellers. One in particular has been very helpful and will be able to replicate a ring we loved in Appelbys (Dublin), for about half the price.

As the thread I came across was dating from 2005/2006, I would love to hear from people who have had more recent experiences in Antwerp and would be willing to share.
