Buying a house to place in trust.

Hi,

My partner past away last year and as we weren't married her estate will be divided between our 3 sons.

My youngest son has special needs so I do realise I need to have a trust in place for him.

My question is, if I was to purchase a house to rent with the combined inheritance of the 3 boys and a contribution from myself could the property and the rental income from it be in trust ?

The purchase and ownership of the property is completely separate to the distribution of your partner's estate.

This can only be done in accordance to her will or in the absence of a will, in accordance with intestacy laws

What the beneficiaries do with their inheritance is a separate matter altogether
