Question for anyone who can give me advice.
Sold a car privately 6 months ago, head gasket went on it within couple of days.
I did get water pump and timing belt and everything on it before selling.
Even asked if he wanted to get mechanic to look at it, but he didnt.
He didnt even take it for test drive.
Car went through NCT flying about a month before i sold. Was not aware of any faults, was driving car up to day before it went wrong.
Only in last month or so has the buyer said he wants me to pay for costs.
Should i? He said that he is going to get solicitor.
Any help would be great.
