I am hoping to purchase a property with 3 one bed flats with the intention of living in one myself and renting the others (after a little bit of diy).
I have a good deposit (approx. 80% of purchase price), but I'm having no luck in getting any sort of mortgage/loan mainly due to the fact it will have to be classed as an investment property and the amount I'm looking for is too low for some banks to even consider.
Can anyone suggest any lending institutions that would consider a small investment loan or even a personal loan?
Its so frustrating as I'm in a good permanent job and have a good credit history.
