Are any banks in the UK providing BTL mortgages and, if so, at what LTV and rent cover? Are trackers available in the UK and, if so, at what rate over LIBOR?

Interest rates are so low that it must make BTL work for an income stream?

BM Solutions or Cheltenham & Gloucester, check their website. 25% minimum deposit required. dont know of anything better. rates are about 5.5% or thereabouts, usually fixed for 2-3 years and charge you a fortune for the priviledge !
dont know of any BTL lender lending over 75% LTV at the moment and word has it that 75% LTV may also disappear.
Let us know how you get on please.

Bank of Ireland may be able to organize one through Bristol and West BS
Good luck

RugbyBoy,
where have you seen B&W's mortgage rates. I didnt think they had any to offer at all and there are no buy to let mortgages available on B&W's website ? unless you saw them somewhere else ? I think BofI offer a mortgage through the UK Post Office but i think the interest rate is 6.5% or higher.

BTL works on high yields not on low interest rates.

Should inflation rear its ugly head (as it likely will due to the 'quantitative easing') then basing an investment decision on low interest rates is a poor one.

If you can get 10% gross yield then go for it.

They are not longer advertising their rates so I suggest you speak to your local BOI branch and see if they can arrange it
